Doble Kara February 8 2016

Doble Kara February 8 2016 teaser.

Doble Kara began with the story of a poverty-stricken Laura (Mylene Dizon) who had no means of acquiring money for her dying mother’s medical treatment. Laura, who had no choice but to resort to prostitution due to desperation, was impregnated by a married man named Antonio Dela Rosa (Allen Dizon).

Despite of what happened, Ishmael (Ariel Rivera) who has shown Laura true love, marries her, and steps in as the father of her two unborn children. On the same day of Laura's childbearing, Lucille (Carmina Villaroel), Antonio’s wife, too, gives birth to their child, Sofia. However, the couple’s daughter died shortly thereafter its delivery in consequence of its premature birth.

As Antonio and Lucille grieve and mourn for their daughter’s early passing, Laura and Ishmael enjoyed and lived a happy life with their twin daughters, Kara and Sara (Julia Montes), regardless of being poor. However, when Kara was diagnosed with leukemia, the twins' parents was forced to separate the two and give up Kara to her biological father Antonio, who had the means to take care of her, because they don't have the money for her treatments. Unbeknownst to her of the existing relationship between her husband and Kara, Lucille adopts and brings Kara abroad where she recovers from her illness.

The two siblings, despite sharing the same appearance, grew up having two separate lives, and exhibit contrasting personalities. Sara, who has an extreme fondness of beauty contests and pageants, grew up ambitiously towards her own life and dream. While, Kara grew up to be charming, sweet, mellow, very sophisticated, and artistically inclined.

As time passes, a grown-up Kara returned back to her hometown, and had made a strong resolution to herself to find her family, against her father’s wishes. While, Sara, on the other hand, remained ignorant of her sister's whereabouts, busy and determined to pursue her dream of becoming rich and famous.

What will Sara and Kara do when fate brings them back together after many years? How will the sisters' relationship change after they grew up having different lives?

Vampire ang Daddy Ko (lit. My Daddy is a Vampire) is a Philippine comedy sitcom starring Vic Sotto and his son, Oyo Boy Sotto. It also stars Ryzza Mae Dizon, Jimmy Santos, Bea Binene, Derrick Monasterio, Glaiza de Castro, Anjo Yllana and Pilita Corrales.

Vampire ang Daddy Ko revolves around a family where the head of the household is a vampire, and where love is the only thing that makes them survive everybody’s suspicion and their own paranoia. Vlad (Oyo) is a semi-retired vampire and the head of the family. He’s been making do with animal blood since he married a human, Sonya (Jackie Lou / Pilita). It is his great love for Sonya that made him want to reform. Sonya, in turn, has promised to give him fine and outstanding children. On that end, she has given him two sons, Vad and Victorio (Vic). Unlike his older brother, Victor is not a vampire. He has issues with his father. He knows his father is a vampire who, from time to time, still consorts with active vampires. Victor feels his father doesn’t love him as much as he does his missing older son, Vad. Vlad continues to tempt Victor with pig’s blood, measures his cuspids to see if they’ve grown into fangs, and in his presence keeps on asking his wife Sonya if it’s possible for them to have picked up the wrong baby in the hospital nursery. Will the love between father and son outweigh their differences? Written and directed by Ms. Bibeth Orteza, Vampire ang Daddy Ko premieres on March 9, Saturday, after Kap's Amazing Stories.

24 Oras’ formidable and time-tested tandem of Mel Tiangco and Mike Enriquez will welcome veteran journalist Vicky Morales as their newest co-anchor. Joining forces, they become the triumvirate to beat on primetime news.

24 Oras has been a household name since 2004 when GMA News and Public Affairs launched what would be the Kapuso Network’s flagship nationwide primetime newscast. The program has since served the need of viewers for non-biased and balanced news, and later even extended broadcast to include weekends.

Monday will also see the rebranding of GMA's regional newscasts into the 24 Oras brand, delivering the news in the distinct 24 Oras style all over the country.

Late-night news source Saksi, led by Arnold Clavio, meanwhile, will have Pia Arcangel on board as its newest co-anchor. With new anchors on board, expect these fortified news programs to continue providing the public with balanced and unbiased news.

“These changes reflect our goal to inject a new dynamism to our newscasts, while still remaining true to our commitment to Serbisyong Totoo— the hallmark of GMA News and Public Affairs,” says Senior Vice President for News and Public Affairs Marissa L. Flores.

24 Oras airs from Monday to Friday at 6:30PM and Saksi at 11:00PM, while 24 Oras Weekend airs at 5:30PM every Saturday and Sunday on GMA 7. Balitanghali, meanwhile, airs weekdays at 11:30AM. Balitanghali Weekend airs at 12nn on GMA News TV.

When "Sa Linggo nAPO Sila" became "'Sang Linggo nAPO Sila" to replace Eat Bulaga which left ABS-CBN to transfer to GMA Network, ASAP was conceptualized and launched in 1995 as a "concert party" on Sundays. Then, Martin Nievera and Pops Fernandez, along with Ariel Rivera and Dayanara Torres (fresh from her crowning at Miss Universe, where it was staged in Manila in 1994), were tapped as main hosts for the show. Channel V’s Joey Mead also joined the show for a while. By 1998, regular guest Zsa Zsa Padilla became a regular host the following year. After Martin Nievera left, Richard Gomez took his place. In March 1999, Onemig Bondoc joined the group. The SOP hosts Vina Morales & Mo Twister also joined the show.

The show originally had their own theme song, Hot na Hot sa ASAP in 1995. In the show's 2nd anniversary, another theme song was released, Better Than Ever. Initial broadcast commenced on February 1995 at the Delta Theatre in Quezon Avenue. In March 1998, they transferred to their own studio at the Studio 10 of the ABS-CBN Broadcast Center in Quezon City.

In 2006, the show launched a somewhat complicated logo where the words ASAP were made out of dots connected which had been in use until 2014. In February 2007, Lani Misalucha joined ASAP. Ex-SOP performers Karylle (daughter of Zsa Zsa Padilla) and Billy Joe Crawford, joined ASAP in 2008.

On January 8, 2010, the show was relaunched as ASAP XV to mark its fifteenth anniversary. In the show's special anniversary on February 7, 2010, a new set was introduced. After the year numbers in the show title wasn't adapted in 2010, a new show named ASAP Rocks launched January 2, 2011. On April 3, 2011, a new set was introduced.
